| Resin I have the ability to get some vinyl ester resin very cheaply but we have always worked with epoxy. The project involves plywood construction. Any thoughts on substituting vinyl for epoxy for any part of the construction?

| If a part is not structural, sure. Otherwise, you need a structural re-design. Hardly worth the cost savings in resin unless you are going into mass production.

| Well the base structure is the plywood but how is it for bonding such as where the plywood structures intersect. it seems like it might be good for the final coating of the structure along with a layer of glass since i read that its moisture reflection is better than epoxy.

| For tabbing it is excellent. The bond is stronger than the wood fibers.
