Non Slip Surface? Product and Ideas?

I have heard many people with issues of having a slippery surface on boats. This can often be a serious problem. I have seen things like sandpaper strips taped on to help, but I skinned my knees climbing up on the boat and don't really like this solution. I have come across a new product which might be the solution I have been looking for. Any tried this before or have other suggestions? Price seems reasonable to try it out.
