| material for fuel tank (gasoline) hi everybody what would be the best material fuel tank for 25' fiberglass boat( outboard engine)? would it be aluminuim,fiberglass, polythelene thanks |

| They are all good. they all have advantages and disadvantages. Here is the coast guards home page http://www.uscgboating.org/ If you are planning to build your own tank they have a section what what is needed and what materials are needed. I hope this helps Ben |

| The modern plastic tank will have the longest life. If your building it in remember to box it oversized as the plastic tank will stretch about 1% or 2% on its first filling. Let the tank sit full and foam the space left in the box , and your set "forever". FAST FRED |
