| If you like to do it the expensive way, you can use sikaflex.

Be careful! Any epoxy will do, not any Sikaflex!

Lexan bonding Thanks for the suggestions, I need some precision : As far as epoxy, does the Epoxy stick that can be cut could do the trick ? The Sikaflex or 5200 could it be remove in the future with a knife and a slicing action ? Does a construction glue could work ? Thanks guys GVQ

Bonding Epoxy-bonding is almost permanent; you can remove an epoxy-bond by heating it up. But then you burn also the Lexan. The use of Sikaflex allows you to cut through the glueline, although not that easy - it can be done without scratching the Lexan window. Again, check the Sikaflex - type you want to use.

Lexan bonding Hi guys, I tried a small dab of 5200 between the lexan and the small metal clip. It stayed in place for several days and it seems to works fine for the moment. Thanks again for the helps.

| Loctite meth-acrylic two part adhesive strong stuff. Lexan would break before adhesive would fail.

Lexan bonding Hi Westsail42, thanks for your suggestion, if the 5200 fail during winter, I'll try your Loctite meth-acrylic two part adhesive, but for the mean time, I'm still looking for the best lexan gluing solution for future projects. GVQ

There is now a DE - GLUE for 5200 . Don't have the name handy but it does (slowly) work. FAST FRED

Don't use acryl-cyanide types of glue - there bonding capacities are ver limited, time-wise. Use Sikaflex or epoxy.

Hi guys, thanks again for all your answers, they are of great interest for me. I came across another product call "Fast Weld", which is a Epoxy adhesive that stick about anything and could be working to any shape desire. I've use it to glue a metal handle to a lexan door. It's easy to use, you just cut off a piece of that material, mend it, place it and in few minutes it harden. Next spring I'll test the holding strenght of that adhesive, so far it seam to hold very well and it blend well with the smoke color of my lexan door.
