My understanding is that thermoset resins, the kind usually used in boatbuilding, are not easily recyclable. There are some thermoplastic boats, however, and these should be...

The hightest quality thermoplastic boat I know of is the JY sailing dinghy.

O.K., how 'bout

I'm not an expert in this field - but perhaps this is enough to get you started. The first link relates to thermoset resins, and the others relate to thermoplastic resins (note: one method of building thermoplastic boats is "roto-molding"). Seaward products makes sea pilings and other products from recycled plastics.

By the way, I studied for a semester at the Gujarat Vidyapith in Ahmedabad. Are you from that part of the world?
