The problem you may get is that when you puncture the lining, water will accumelate underneath and your deck will start to rot! There are all kind of different products to create anti-slip surface, you'll just have to search the net for that. Just a warning, not all of them can be used to seal the deck watertight. BTW, the cheapest non-slip is to put fine sand in the deck paint!

| Simplest that really looks great is to obtain some cotton screen material from Canada, . The cold weather there kills the tiny bugs , so the screening is to stop B52 sized green flies ect. After the deck is complete cut the screening to the shape desired , and lightly outline the area with pencil.Iron the cotton bug screening to be sure it lays flat Simply use a 2 part Epoxy paint , lay down a coat with a roller , lay on the screening and roll on a thin top coat. For some reason the paint gets sucked UP into the cotton pattern , leaving the area looking like the interior of a Boston Whaler. Best of all it grinds off very easily should it suffere major damage , somthing you have difficulty with if using sand in the paint for no skid. Very easy to get Pro looking results , cheap too!
