Flat camo Paint over epoxy

I am building a wooden duck hunting boat and wondering what the best paint is to use over the West Systems epoxy. I want it to be OD green. Don't want to spend a fortune, but want it to last. I am rough on things in the water though. Thanks.

You can use any paint over it. Make sure you take the amine wax off first. A scrubby pad with dish washing detergent works best.

2k PU paints can tolerate most abuse, but they are also the most expensive choice.. but like Gonzo said, you can pretty much use anything..

Camo paint is flat and multicolor. Patches don't show.

Do I need to start with a pu primer, latex based. Then move onto pu flat od green or use any latex flat? Also- who would carry a OD green flat pu paint?

Home Depot has flat paint. Exterior acrylic latex works fine

Yes. They sell four colors of flat camo paint in spray cans too.

If you are using dark colors...you may have a problem with the epoxy softening in the hot sun. Store it out of the sun if it has lots of OD green, black or dark Brown...the desert colors are much kinder tho. If you are painting it to blend in with tan reeds and such you should be oK.
