| fixing stainless tank I have a stainless steel fuel tank that has a small pinhole were it is leaking. The tank is in very good condition apart from this. Is it possible to have the tank repaired or is it better to have a new one built. The tank is out of a sharkcat and it is sealed under the floor so require high reliability. (don't want to cut open the floor again) Opinions or past experience expressed would be greatly appreciated. |

| Steve, If you have one pinhole , I would think there would be more just waiting to happen. Here are a few threads about stainless fuel tanks and tanks in general. Sam http://boatdesign.net/forums/showthr...ess+fuel+tanks http://boatdesign.net/forums/showthr...ess+fuel+tanks |
