Fixing interior wall panel

To my knowledge, there are two types of method to install veneer wall panel inside the yatch.
I can use PU adhesive to glue them on partition. However, it is diffcult to replace it if there is any damage to the panel surface. PU adhesive is too hard to remove once they dry.
The other is to do it in assemble way. Of course, it is much easy to change all defect items. But, it creates noise as well when the yatch sail.
I don't know what should be the right way. Is there anyone can give me some advice?
