I don't have any great input for you, but since no one else has answered yet, here are the Ferro boatbuilding sites I have bookmarked (you've probably already visited all these and talked to these people, but maybe not. I would think that Richard Hartley/Colin Brookes could give you some leads. Even though he's now in New Zealand, previously he had an office in the UK. Unfortunately the ferroboats forum seems to be inactive now.)

I thought I had a much longer list that that – it seems a number of ferro project sites have disappeared and I don't seem to find many new ones to replace them now…
