| Electric windlass manual backup Hello, I can't find any information about the manual backup system concerning the following windlass QUICK GENIUS 1000D in case of electric breakdown. Any fellow cruiser can send me the data and some feedback experience on that device before buying ? Thank you in advance. Patrick  |

| Definitive answer Hello, I finally obtain the answer from the manufacturer: there is simply no emergency mecanism for that model ! In case of electric failure, then simply heave on brave fellow cruiser: train yourself for good chanties ! Thank you. Patrick. |
