| Diesel Fuel Tank components Assuming the use of polyethylene for diesel fuel tank construction, what would be the best material(s) to use for the connections, valves etc? Lines of course would all be A-1 rated fuel hose. And can anyone recomend a good source of info on the subject? There's any number of articles / books / forum posts etc on tank construction and installation, but I can find precious little about the remainder of the system. Thanks |

| With diesel fuels the rule is simple: no copper, and no brass. Or you'll have chemical problems. Use stainless steel. It's a straightforward task and you'll find easily what you need. Any good book on engine installation will give you the hints, there is nothing mysterious. |
