| construction of aluminium and carbon masts Hello all, I am doing an investigation on: 'Development of materials in masts of racing triangular-rigged sailboats and how it has affected performance.' I am looking for info about the construction of aluminium and carbon masts, and its advantages and disadvantages. could anyone help me please? LS  |

| alu is extruded. carbon can be wound out of filaments, or made with hand lay up methods. wet lay ups as well as prepreg. do a search with those terms  search youtube(how its made had a part about it..) contact supplyers(selden, prince fibre tech, etc.) |
