I don't know where you are but most large cities have a store that sells K & E equipment. they can order them for you. I bought mine at the K & E store in Manhattan.

I found thid on e-bay http://cgi.ebay.com/LOT-2-SPLINE-K-E...QQcmdZViewItem

I also found this on the Keuffel & Esser building in Manhattan. Apparently it's become a historic landmark http://www.nyc.gov/html/lpc/download...20manhattan%22

But on another thread there have been some posts about making your own spline weights http://boatdesign.net/forums/showthread.php?t=9244

Thanks IKE, you are very kind... actually there is 3 pcs selling in ebay and 2 unlisted sale... I am watching and hawking ebay everyday, I hope surplus from designer's drawer stock that they never did much use... that would be more fun. Do you have a couple spare for sale sir?

Yes, I know that block of historic land... K+E was really something of a legend although they are very good in outsourcing with other brand to make stuff under the K+E trademark.

Sean Herron was witty and gloomy but practicle in his way of his view... ultimate wicked... He...

There is an ad for spline weights in the October 2006 Woodenboat magazine on page 103, $19.95 for one 4lb or $90.00 for five 4 lb weight
