| WANTED: Big Ass Electric Trolling Motors I just bought a New Shamrock Inboard Diesil with a Yanmar 240 and while it rides nice and is Wicked Pissa Fast. It will not throttle down to 1 to 3 knots to troll for Striped Bass. The boat has a dive platform on it and and I keep her on a Trailer so that I can travel to all the great fishing spots. Even thinking of doing a few Tournaments. Any of you Designers/ Engineers looking for a Real Time Test Platform for High Powered Electric Triolling Motors? We could mount a pair on the dive platform which would be in the water at trolling speed but lifts clear at planing speeds. I can help you with controls design if you wish and will beat the crap; I mean conduct Field Studies of the products for design evaluation and with a comprehensive report of my findings. USCG Licenced Merchant Marine Officer Master Maine Guide and a hell of a lot of other Quals to Boot! Capt Walt WickedGoodOutdoors@Maine.rr.com Run Silent Run Deep |
