Steel Tahiti Ketch,$18k hull & deck

For sale: Steel Tahiti Ketch--Bare Hull . Weston Farmer's updated steel version of John Hanna's famous Tahiti Ketch. 32' on deck, 37' LOA, 10' 2" beam, 4'4' draft. All steel work expertly fabricated at Ron Barnes steel boatyard in St Augustine, Fl. The naval architect Phil Bolger praised Barnes as "one of the most expert and efficient builders of steel boats in the country." See also the book "Steel Away" for his craftmanship. The vessel was built in 1993, always kept under cover. --hull,deckhouse, bulwarks, bowsprit --keel with built in engine cooler --rudder, shaft log, engine bed, ss chain locker--ss top rails, cabin handrails, and stanchions--companionway hatch and deck hatch. The vessel can be ketch or cutter rigged. This sailing vessel is specifically designed for strength and heavy weather safety; it is capable of carrying stores, fuel, and water for extended bluewater cruising or live aboard in the tropic islands. 18k firm
