(Sold) 9000 lb lead/antimony alloy keel. All or Part

Turning my deep draft off shore race boat into a play house in the back yard for the kids. Don't need a 7' draft boat living on a 5' deep estuary.

On the London Metal exchange lead is $2600 / ton and rising fast after a pre Christmas correction.

Have an offer in hand of $.68/lb picked up for the lead fin keel. I believe it is 9,000 lbs. If you can do better, email me. location Eastern North Carolina.

I have sucked up enough lead fumes casting keels for all the sailboats I have built over the last 40 yrs, I have drawn a line in the Mold sand and don't wish to handle it any more. I am taking the easy deal. The lead is SOLD.

PS. The local scrap yard offered $.15/lb This lead goes to Canada and they pay the transportation.
