| 'Rare Earth Permanent Magnet' Generators? I am looking for a cheap little generator to do work on the water, maximum use would probably be running a power tool OR maybe lights at night and OR charging the battery- they say deal for sensitive equipment, TV, Computer, Exceptional motor start capability- so also charging up the laptop would be good.. I found a $299(Aus) add in the trading post about a 1Kva 950 watt 62db Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Sine Wave PS1000X. They claim that it copes a lot better with inductive loads (such as power tools), and is generally more efficient. I haven't found much other information about them, have posted on wbf with no hits yet, anyone have any experience or knowledge? Thanks, Hans. ps- here is a pdf stats link Quote:
