Don't know if they still have them. There were 2 in Houston I think.

I looked at a so called yacht hull , aluminium , near inverness , quite unsuitable for my needs but may well readily convert to a fishing hull , the non-boatie type now owning it would probably love to get shot of it ...... let me know if interested , James

project alloy boat hull

Phew -- have to scratch the head for phone no etc -- hull is on a smallish industrial estate at Muir of Ord , a town near Inverness, Highland , and the owner ( of both the hull and the industrial estate ) is now Leith + co ltd , Civil Engineers (roads, etc . )--Ian Leith , Managing director , is the man to talk to , i have no interest ( or responsibility for this project in any way !) and certainly no photos , but Ian Leith also owns a firm called Big Ord Drainage pipes , 01463870734 , and the hull is in their yard on a cradle . The welding seems pretty good to me , but the design is weird , the now deceased original owner had the idea of having a giant outboard on the transom ........also, no head room over much of the length. But , as i said before , possible to use it as a base for a fishing hull , depends on where you are based i guess. Should get it for the scrap value , if that . If you do , please tell Ian Leith i need 5 metres of my driveway tarmaccing !!! -- tho he may not be a man to proffer return favours ! (no hints intended here , if you lived in the highlands you would appreciate just how damn difficult getting things like tarmac etc done actually are !) cheerio , James
