| Portable powder coating systems We are the distributors of a unique portable powder coating system called the Xiom 1000. This system can be used to coat virtually any surface from plastic to fiberglass to concrete to steel and aluminum on-site. However, what's particularly interesting for boat builders is that with this system you can apply anti-fouling coatings to your marine equipment, boats, piers, and anything else that can be submerged and is subject to fouling. And you can do it anywhere. The coatings are ready for service immediately, meaning as soon as they have been applied, they are ready for immersion. There is no long curing time, like with paint, plus you don't have the limitations of a powder coating oven. The antifouling additives to the coatings adhere to California regulations for copper leaching, and the coatings themselves will last 7-10 times longer than paint. (There are 25 or so different unique coatings that can be ordered as well, each with a different purpose - antifouling is only one of them). Here's an image of the system itself: ![]() For more information have a look at our website at http://www.jaddak.com |
