Builder : 30 years experience (craftmen)
Type : Pinishi Yachts ( sailing and motor or motorsailer )
Material : Ulin, bengkirai, bungur, meranti_deck
Include : Boat, major furniture, and machine install. Machine depend on size of boat.
SailPlan : 7 sail Schooner mast 9 meter plus 5 meter extend (2 main mast + 3 jib)
Option : Can be pinisi schooner design or custom drawing from owner ( maybe extra charge)

Can build to 180ft max. due to the size of group of craftmen. Larger vessel can be discuss on private basis.

We build sturdy and hardy boat that have test the time in tropical weather.... can visit our site through arrangement.

For custom design plan from buyer, we request the wooden yacht building plan be original from designer. We would not entertain copied or double plans without the designer permission. We respect copyright in our wooden yachts building site.

We hope our exclaimer is not offensive but just to be sure the customer will not bring a wrong plan to us.

Sorry, We dont make part for distance order for boat, unless boat that dock in our yard (repair).

We only do turn key or boat without major change in interior, engine( buyer choice) and sail (cheaper):

Delivery:

1. Hand the boat locally
2. Send, Transport small boat in container or larger cargo vessel( transport charge)
3. Sail the finished product to final destination (last option and more expensive)

We dont make knock down version for assembly abroad.

All measurement will be in Metric.

Different size and wood material will cost different and grain will be different

I know problem when a guys who want to buy a wooden yachts of their dream, I was there and felt hard to talk over phone and correspondance to get what I want....... leading to undesire result.

Now, imagine cheap profesional labour with experience (30years), cheap shipyard space (rent would effect boat price), cheap standard of living, cheap timber of varous type (Type sizes and dry to a STD level) and more hour on the work (longer working period) could present a better economic value..... (Your dream come true)

-Our design office have a audit team of 3 person to ensure quality, craftmanship and use of appropriate material for the ship building. This to be an assuarance to long distant client. We do progress report and actual progression photo. This data and info is for the customer viewing and comment. Actual work can be stop for max 3 days for confirmation from future owner to change spec or add details. change is limited to 3 times as the craftmen have other stuff to do too.

Realistic, you maybe an honest guy with a small pensiun fund who wanted a boat and have some cash still for the excellent trip?, a sailor who would like to find a new boat, a guy with an eyes to Traditional look od Asia yachts then you are now presented with a cheaper and satisfaction option.

You can email our personnel and talk about your need, send sketches of your boat......... we can do plimentary rendering after a suitable agreement have been done. We can build base on legal plan that have been purchases at one of the designer.

-Our team is consisted of 20 person woodcarpenter and 3 main wooden boat builder. We have other worker ready to be called if work arise.

-We have addition in our team 2 Dayak wood carver able to make the ship with design of Ancient carving of Borneo Spirit ( Boat Tatoo ) for a special price.

The team have done beautiful job for local EXPAT community.

This Welly Shipyard is an extended of our sister shipyard, PT. Mercusuar Mandiri, which deal with repair and contruction on steel boat structure.

The Welly Shipyard is a Traditional dock and deal only with wooden boat in term of repair and building.

We hope this extended new business with old hands of the area would provide a better trust and quality in the Indonesian Wooden Boat Industry.

P.S. We are still re designing the local version of yachts boat and including Chinese Junk Boat option upon request. Or hybride of Pinisi and Chinese Junk.

The rendering that is upload to the forum is a bare minimum without some feature that we still hold on. We would give more infomation for prospecting customer as it pay the rent
