However, caution and good judgement should always be used. Especially when considering any business with anyone not already well known to you and trusted, due diligence must be used to confirm details and identity and be sure the transaction is safe before any money or property changes hands. Always use good judgement and perform due dilligence and follow these guidelines.

Hi Boston, It is a Bob Oram design that dougie posted on my website until I closed it as no one wanted to "manage it" whilst I was away cruising... Bob Has now retired? - - or ??? - - he may be contacted, (if available), via "the Scrumble project", or Judy who is registered herein and based in Darwin - They are building a 44C with much pride and care...

First storms of the season? attached - IDG00073.pdf - from Australia's BOM (Bureau of Meteorology) and more stuff here http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/satellite/?tz=AEST&unit=p23&view=33&domain=1

Oh I missed it........ The launch, that is  and everyone is not answering their mobiles - Oh well another day?

Happy xmas and a prosperous new year... Wishful thinking but 'prosperity in and of the mind' - recognising true assets ... like reliable friends and loving family, a comfortable lifestyle and food on the table, giving to others and helping where one can :D :D :D :D

http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/satellite/?tz=AEST&unit=p23&view=33&domain=14 cyclone in mid Coral Sea - not well defined and a weak category 1 system

http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/charts/viewer/index.shtml?type=sigWaveHgt&tz=AEST&area=Au&model=WG Indicates a good extended weekend - making for good surfing in SE Queensland from the southern islands of the Great Barrier Reef and maybe down South to the Northern Beaches of NSW...

Oh well, seems both cyclones weakened ??? The monsoonal trough is still active, so there is some little hope of another or the old re-generating? or are they destined to fizz out with a gentle whimper - like the GEC  :?

Well at 20:00 AEST on 31 December 2011 it is almost the end of a volatile year, and I fear the GEC will not settle but probably get more uncertain so enjoy the simple things in life for 2012 is my wish for everyone... May you feel blessed by good friendships, pleasant socialising and a greater understanding and rejoicing in the views of others....

My goal is to implement (assuming I can secure some financial support) is to implement something along the style of managing a project as follows...

Continuous flow processing of coconut oil (CFP production)

    Background http://www.kokonutpacific.com.au/
The DME process is excellent for villager level processing and value-adding from the 'tree-of-life' in remote and small communities of the Pacific Islands, - - but what of those where bigger areas planted to coconut palms need to be processed?

    My proposal:
The methodology is similar, in that the nuts are brought to the factory complex...

    The nut owners
The nut owners are still responsible for harvesting.

    The business
The business (co-operative or commercial operator) collects and stores the nuts ready for the next stage in turn.

    The nut owners
The nuts are de-husked by the owners of the nuts, split (capturing the water) and finger-cut to remove the 'green' meat.

    The business
The finger cut coconut meat is weighed and brought up to the hammer mill for factory staff to process and pulverise, using the collected coconut water to flush the processed / pulverised meat on to the next stage.

The coconut water is brought to the hammer mill in readiness to assist in flushing the pulverised coconut meat through the hammer mill to pass through a 6mm grating.

The pulverised meat and some of the coconut water are conveyed to the feed line of the expeller set at low pressure to extract COLD PRESSED COCONUT OIL and the coconut water is separated from this process before expelling and stored in containers

The surplus coconut water may be used to feed pigs and other livestock belonging to the business or the villager (depending on individual processing payment systems in place)

The cold pressed oil is settled, any water and/or solids are filtered out and the pure 'cold-pressed-coconut-oil' is stored in appropriate containers, for storage and or export by the business or coconut owner depending on financial arrangements in place.

The copra meal is then set through a SECOND PASS to extract more coconut oil – this lacks many of the health / pharmaceutical qualities, as the temperature removes many of the beneficial components. The oil is useful as fuel soap making and as a diesel fuel replacement.

The business uses the husks and shells in the production of bio-char, heat to operate this process, gas to run engines in the 'factory'.

The business process the dung from the piggery and poultry farming operation in the 'bio-char' facility and blends this with the coconut derived bio-char to produce natural fertilisers. These fertiliser blends are packaged and sold as a dry product or bulked and returned to the farmland as fertiliser.

    The business
The Business benefits by diversification in products and effective resource utilisation:
Production and sale of cold pressed coconut oil.
CNO as fuel and for other industrial / value adding processes.
    Bio-char to blend into fertiliser.
Improvements in estate hygiene and greater pasture availability.
'Copra meal' as a feed base for livestock food.
Coconut water as a livestock food / supplement

    The business
The business is now able to run intensive piggery growing, poultry growing, fish farming, supplement for calves, improved carrying capacity of livestock on green pasture through better fertilisation and clearing of pastures, as well as better return from the coconuts.

By processing for adjacent villager communities, better community relations in enhancing their cash flow.

Reduced costs in fertiliser as much is now made on site and regularly spread onto the fields.

Reduced cost in fuels and energy as fuels are locally made and electricity also produced as a by-product of the bio-char process.

    The business
    The business will need to commit to additional expenditure required in new capital equipment and includes;
storage for coconuts delivered from the field,
    space to de-husk coconuts
space to break shells and collect coconut water
    coconut water containers,
    husks/shells storage near bio-char plant,
    coconut oils storage containers,
    processing building,
    hammer mill,
    expeller,
    materials moving equipment
generators & sundry workshop facilities & tools for maintenance and repair
    tractor/trailer, or truck and nut collecting/delivery methodology/systems,
    bio-char continuous flow processing plant,
Composting area, dung holding area and feed systems to bio-char plant
Bagging, storage and container cleaning facilities
Truck carried spreader to distribute fertiliser product.
    Poultry growing shed
    Pig growing shed
water supply to clean piggery and supply water for poultry :D :D :D

I have the details and design prepared for implementation - May your year be blessed, and may the remote communities benefit from this proposal...

May you all enjoy a prosperous 2012....

Mass, may you have a fantastic 2012. That your business venture will work out. That you one day will add 2 electric motors to your yacht, with LiFePo4 batteries. No more worries about smelly diesel.
I am one year overdue. Just got my motors running to my perfection.
