Keels for sale

I have a line on a number of boats that are in the process of being decomissioned. Most are in the 25-35' range and I am trying to figure out what to do with the lead ballast slung underneath. Right now I have offers from scrap yards to pay around $.35 /lb which is significantly under the world scrap price for lead, and was wondering if anyone had some other options that might make sense to investigate?
