I am looking to buy a mold for the manufacture of kayaks by rotational moulding. I represent a manufacturing company who specialises in rotomolding and would like to manufacture kayaks in the UK.
Good money paid for the right mold!

What are the requirements for using a mold for rotational molding? I have been toying with the idea of rotomolding a kayak and am wondering what I would have to supply the manufacturer. As you most likely know, most boats start out as a plug, frequently made from strip planking or fiberglass, or both (cored composite). If you were supplied with such a boat, could you rotomold copies, or do you require CAD drawings or something else?
