| Interest check - Custom tillers I bought a big slab of Padouk, an exotic African hardwood, to make a tiller for the sailboat I'm restoring. The wood is a reddish orange color and very dense. I haven't gotten mine made yet, but the slab I bought yielded 3 more blanks for making tillers. Would anyone be interesting in having a custom made tiller for their boat and if so what do you think they would be worth? |
