    Fiberglass Chopped strand mat is a kind of glass fiber non-woven reinforcing material by chopping continuous strands into chopped strands of certain length (50mm) and uniformly in combination with polyester binder in powder or in emulsion form.

    Chopped strand mat is suitable for application by hand lay-up, reinforce and machine FRP molding, such as interior decoration of vehicles, boat hulls, sanitary ware, anticorrosive pipes, tanks, building materials, tables, chairs and all kinds of composite FRP products.

    E-glass Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat (CSM) Characteristics:
    Even distributing; same character; good wet-out in resins; good overlay capability; excellent mechanical physical and chemical capability.

    Fiberglass Chopped strand mat is a procedure not accepted by some administrations for the construction of the hulls of ships. That is due mainly to the difficulty of getting the mechanical properties of the final product are uniform, they can be quantified and beyond the minimum required.

    Most of the problems with CSM can be solved easily by weighing the CSM ,

    and then mixing the correct weight of resin and doing a uniform application.
