| ANCHORLIFT Windlass, anyone had one? Anchorlift Windlass Anyone had experience good or bad with these? Anchorlift Windlasses I was looking at these Mako M1512's for my boat and the usd to aud is looking mighty fine at the moment and was wondering if it was worth the punt getting one. They have a few for sale on eBay at the moment HERE. The comparison in a Muir is an Atlantic 4000 capstan and as you can see there is a bit of a difference in price. Maxwell are seemingly expensive in comparison as well here is the comparable one Liberty 2500 Any comments appreciated |

| Anchorlift I bought an Anchorlift dolphin for my 33ft cutter but I have not used it yet, I can vouch for the build quality and materials. All stainless is 316, finishing is very good and the electronics seem robust. The only negative side I can think of is that there is no way to manually haul the anchor using the windlass/handle without removing the motor, setting the anchor manually is easy though. R.
