well informed

once again neven you are a great help and a source for inspiration
i have been to mayanmar once
while visiting the hill tribes north of chang mai
we had to 'sneak' across the border
it was exhilarating and frightening
and althought the forests were exquisite
especially the giant teak trees
the exploitation of the people was painfully evident
and as you stated..such a gentle people
so i'm grateful for your sharing of the details of the lumber industry
i know the people i'll be working for are extremely conscientious
and environmentally aware as well
mayanmar is one of the places they 'collect' lumber from
and i am curious now as to how this is accomplished

i'll get back to you soon about this and other matters
for now i am heading to florida to help with some hurricane relief
and then on to the new job (hopefully) after that

thank you once again

namaste
