Pretty much just what the title says, is there a limit or can you just go as small as you want?

Depends on what you want it to do! The question is far too vague to be answered in a short sentence.

Boats, airplanes, models, mega tankers, or perhaps motorcycles.
    And what do you mean.

The F-35 is a thrust vector jet. You want a smaller one?
