Jet Drive on Tunnel Hull Possible?

I want to put a jet drive on a 16 foot alum Monarch tunnel hull boat. Is this recommended? I run in a lot of sandy areas and very shallow water.

This is a tunnel hull and it is propelled by a jet drive. Actually by a 500ci V8 hooked to a jet drive. 132 mph in the 1/4 mile. high 7 or low 8 sec. I forget.

So yes, you can successfully run a jet drive in a tunnel hull.

There are lot's of tunnel hulls powered by jet drives. Good designs will perform very well.

MR. CBM - it's hard to consider one design as best overall, since it really depends on what your performance objectives are. Southwind, California Performance and Eliminator all make very good, fast jet-drive tunnel hulls.

150-200mph dragboat with a jetdrive. can these designs be improved upon in your opinion or would you have to start from scratch, if at all possible?
thanks in advance.

Southwind, California Performance and Eliminator are all successful drag boat hulls. "you can always improve" on a design, since many successful designs have been around for many years without modifications. so there is always a way to improve a design to achieve just what you're looking for.
