| Personaly I would chose a steyr MO164M40 or the MO184V40 that is comming soon + a Rolls Royce Kamewa waterjet FF240 because they are not only in the same power range, but also have the same max RPM witch remove the nead for a gearbox witch again together with the aluminium steyr would save weight. Or maybe go for a 2stroke? http://www.dieseltech.cc/ try to find a waterjet that match the 100hp and 2500rpm. It runn on diesel and only weigh 90kg so I think it's a exciting pice |

| Then I would probartly go for a steyr MO144M38 even the rpm don't match or I would try to find a waterjet that do or find a waterjet that match the Dair engine that dieselteck is building on license http://www.dieseltech.cc/ I like this engines because they are made from aluminium and unlike aluminium engines from car's the dair engine is made for running at constant high rpm because it's made for aircraft while the steyr is made for marine. |
