Impeller clearance specs on a 733 Hamilton

does any body know, or know where I can get the specs on my Hamilton 733? What is the procedure to check those specs?

The NZ jet forum is probably a better place to ask such questions.

733 or 773?

Either way, impellor OD to wear ring ID shouldn't be larger than 60thou (30 thou radius / gap between). They can be rebuilt easily enough. You should notice considerable slippage as you mash the gas which'll settle a little as you gain speed (slight over-rev, then the revs drop back a little, probably still a little above normal)
