| engine to jet drive I have a nissan 2.7 turbo fitted to my boat on to a replica pp jet , Now can any one tell me if its possable to fit other jet drives , the drive i have is jet in board has a spline male, to a female spline reciever to rubber couplings to a short shaft to the flywheel i was wondering do all jet drives have splines i dont no never seen any other jet any imformation will be a big help guys thanks for you time. |

| Berkeley, Jacuzzi and American Turbine jets all have the same SAE splined shaft. There also is a double universal joint that fits these shafts; on the input side it has a 4-hole flange. For sizes and prices see the Glen-L-marine website. |

| The picture of the 4.0L Toyota / Lexus V8 motor shows a very common Hardie Spicer type universal coupling. The 3.8L V6 motor shows an adaptor attached to the crank (through the flywheel) with the 4 bolt PCD and spogot machined in for the universal couple. The SDM 200 pump (blue jet pump) shows an alternative end to a jet shaft. This is very common through-out the SDM range, and older Hamilton product (750 series and older). This type need a flange at both ends of the universal couple, and has the sliding spline in the middle. It is slightly longer overall compared to the universal with the yoke at one end. The last picture shows the minimum distance required by the double flange type uni shaft. |

| Found some better pics showing the driveshaft, adaptor block and flywheel. Both motors are a 1UZFE (4.0L Toyota / Lexus), one coupled to an American Turbine the other to a Scott Junoir 7 1/2" pump. |
