I have removed the drive from the boat. I have removed the five bolts that hold the lower section to the upper section . How do i seperate the two. Am I missing somethig or they just stuck? Thanks

If you're sure all the bolts are out, get a soft rubber mallet. Use it to gently tap down on the lower unit, tapping all around the thing and always straight down. Again, make sure ALL the bolts are out before you do this and use a rubber, not metal, mallet. Lower units are usually tight, this is not at all unusual. If it's an old drive there could also be some corrosion holding them together.

Thanks. I have removed the two bolts from the sides and the two under the fin. I have sprayed with wd 40 and tapped with a hammer. I am at a loss as to my next steps. Any ideas. Thanks again
