Help Identifying Borg Warner Box

Hi all,
Can anyone help I have got a Borg Warner V Drive Box and plate is only half there to identify the unit.
I am trying to find out the ratio of the box?
I have the serial Number which is 924M
The name plate is Red
The Model Number starts with a 1 and has 5 init.
Thats all i know
I also have a problem with it if anyone can give some sugestions will be great.
At present you can turn the spline by hand and the coupling turns at same time this does this in all gears.
Being Hydraulic even if the ratio was 1 to 1 i wouldnt of thought it should do that as it would need to pump the oil round and pressureise.
So i am thinking something is seized???

The clutches usually drag a bit, so it will make the output shaft turn. The same model can have different ratios, so it will be difficult to say just with a partial information. However, if it is turning, you can count the turns and calculate the ratio. The only other way is to take it apart and count the gear teeth.

Can anyone tell me the amount of teeth the gears have to which ratio?

And if if i found out its not the ratio i would like is it possible to just change them two Gears to be the ratio i want

If they are the same number is a 1:1.0. Divide the output teeth by the input. By the way, I will be passig through Portsmouth to take the ferry to Spain in a couple of weeks. I could take a look at your transmission.

Just to let anyone know that if you are looking for part numbers and details of how many teeth are on specific drive gears have a look at this site

You can then identify what ratio your box is.
Ok my question is when i take the gear casing off is there a specific way of doing it? All the cogs and drive gears are not going to full out in my hands are they.
I Have detached the vee drive assy from the transmission and i have worked out its a 1.1 box or very close to it.
I need to open the box so i can see if its chain or gear so i can order different size drive gears to make it 2.1 or the next closest ratio which i think is 1.99:1
Can i also confirm that if i want to change the ratio all i need to is change the two drive gears to what i want the ratio to be.

I'm a bit unclear when you say 'I have detached the v drive assembly from the transmission and have worked out its 1:1' which bit?
The front part is 1:1 with the forward and reverse clutch packs and the planatery.
Its what bolts on next ( nothing for a 1:1 direct drive ) like your V drive that determines the ratio.

I have never heard of a 1:1 v drive so it will be some reduction
