Hi all, I'm Jack, glad to become part of this forum, it's great!

I have recently acquired a kingfisher 26 sailing boat with a Yanmar 1gm10 lump in it.
Shortly before I took charge of it, while crossing the Bristol channel, the drivetrain suddenly started making a loud grinding vibration. I have quickly identified this as the thrust unit, which appears to be an 'Aquadrive' type.

Now, I will remove this from the boat today, but I am not sure what parts are available for a unit such as this. Does anyone know if and where I can source a new bearing for this, or, indeed, if it's even a serviceable part?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks, Jack Underhill.
