| Keep the weight out of the end of the boat if you expect it to be an effective racing craft. Pitching moments from the added weight will rob you of speed and control. |

| Hey Chris, Yes I thought of locating a small battery amidships and the control part of the motor for my cruising/camping moments. I'd make it removable for serious racing. |
