offsets

    perhaps my offsets are wrong, this is not the shape of turn of bilge

    Not necessarily wrong, just that you provided no info below that -1 waterline. Thus as the drawing below shows....all guessing below that lower offset.

    The red spline is about what you see above, the blue spline also goes through the same offset points....just has a completely different shape. This is the designers problem...how to transmit enough data to build the shape you intend....traditional offset tables work....another (lower) waterline would help

    Peter, sorry could not assist more
    I dont know how to extract either so what I do is section the lines in rhino, at each frame station, draw the structure and just measure the frame at wl,s, buttocks, sheer, and or chines if any
    Do you have R4?

    and if Tad OR ANYONE could show me how to call offsets from R4 ORMaxsurf, that,d be wonderful

    I've been on the road for a few days, just back and catching up...I'll look at this again over the weekend.
