| Unfortunately, not that I know of. However, with half models you can trace the lines. That is the reason to make half models. The layers are set over paper and then use a pencil. I can see that making a table of offsets and then digitizing them is way more work. A problem with scanners, is that the definition is pretty good for scanning an actual hull, but with a model, the errors may be too large.

| some small CNC enterprises have unoccupied laser scanners for small parts (customers compel them to have one for quality control), may be they can scan your model by the pound...? |
