How to open paint in computer

Sometimes we want to do a quick sketch to illustrate a concept.
I have found paint to be a handy tool to accomplish this.

I tried it. Now, how do I remove the paint on my monitor?

The newer versions especially are actually a pretty capable tool. I use it a lot for design work.

It also works really well on top of a picture
right click on your pic in the file
it will give you several options eg. open - edit -preview
futher down the list is "open with"
eg. adobe - picture manager - paint

once open in paint you can draw on top of your pic

very nice tool for quick illustration

You can also use Paint to overwrite items you don't like in a picture. You can e.g. pick up the colour close to the artists signature and overwrite the signature. The you write in your own signature. It's much easier that making your own pictures, and the result is usually much more enjoyable.

I find it most useful to scale a picture or convert from .bmp to .jpg. You can use it to crop and trim pictures too.

Here is my very first computer aided sketch. Got a long way to go so don't laugh too hard:

I use Corel Draw.

Looks like much the same thing. When I altered my boat, I took a photo imported it and then I drew the alterations.

I could then click on any part of the alterations to get the sizes or change it to suit the size I wanted.

Kept me off the streets too.

When you do lettering you can set for transparent background not to blot object under letters.

In case anyone doesn't know: if you've saved a picture in some wierd(to me) format like png or bmp you can open the picture in "Microsoft Office Picture Manager" and go to the upper lefthand corner and click on "File" ,then "Export", then to the right side in the box and change it to jpeg.
