shift cables

anyone ever try to repair the barrel shaped piece on the end of the shift cable? Can't buy it seperate and my cable is perfectly fine.

You can buy Morse cable accessories, but I dont know what you mean by the barrel shaped thing. Do you mean the clamp for the outer sheath?

Stop by any repair shop and ask for one. They are thrown away when cables get changed.
