Big Gas Engine

We are also motorhome folks and prefer bus conversions to "sticks and staples.

The current project is a 36 ft bus getting re engined with a series 50 DD run at 320hp.

To lower the cost of parts like a bellhousing a donor ser 50 was purchased.

This is a "natural gas" engine that is a duplicate of the diesel, but its NOT a diesel!!!

The engine has ignitors and spark plugs where the injectors would be , and the same (mostly) electronic simply fires the spark.

With a big fuel injection mounted on the unit it should be a really strong 300-400 hp with 1400 ft lbs of torque .

Gasoline is far easier to live with for a 100 hour a year toy, but with an engine weight of about a ton (2000lbs) the question comes,

What do I do with it? It will be silent as any car engine.

Its almost 4 ft tall, so its not going into a very small boat.

Ideas???
