| At this point, I tend to favor "lumping it all together" so the forum has sufficient activity to get going. Once we have some activity started in the new forum, it's not too difficult to separate topics into subforums. (Otherwise creating too many forums at once I fear we could end up with a forum with three topics and it's a chicken or the egg situation... no one posts until there is activity, and there's no activity until people post in that forum). Once we have a couple dozen threads on each specific subtopic, I'll create a corresponding subforum and move them there. |
