There may be some connectivity issues this coming Sunday, March 13, 2011.
The datacenter will be making changes to core routers with a maintenance window starting at 12 AM (CST, GMT -6) until 4 AM.
Quote:
In order to prepare for the full integration of two new core routers into the network, we will be enabling OSPF on the new core routers at our Chicago datacenter. Furthermore, we will be turning up new OSPF sessions from New York to Chicago to add another layer of redundancy between sites.
Date: Sunday, March 13, 2011
Start Time: 12:01 AM CST (GMT-6)
End Time: 4:00 AM CDT (GMT-5)
Maintenance Scope: OSPF turn-up
Customer Impact: Possible periods of sub-optimal routing
During this maintenance, we will be enabling OSPF on two new core routers and introducing them into our network. The configuration process typically takes approximately 2-3 minutes, but we are allowing additional time for routing protocol convergence as well as routing anomalies. Secondly, we will be enabling new OSPF sessions on two existing devices to facilitate redundancy from New York to Chicago.
