    Update

With the new forum software, the easiest way to include your video in your forum post from youtube or vimeo is to click on the Media icon in the editor toolbar when posting on the forum.

This will prompt you for the link to your video on either YouTube or Vimeo.

You can also simply include a link to your YouTube video in your post, such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WqCLmuwqJA and the new forum software should be able to parse that correctly to display your video inline for you as well.

Note: the legacy youtube and vimeo bbcode options are still supported as well. The following applies only if specifically using these bbcodes:

Alternately, if using the legacy [youtube]videoID[/youtube] or [vimeo]videoID[/vimeo] bbcode, include only the actual video ID within the youtube bb code, for example the ID after v=

Let's say the URL of the video was
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WqCLmuwqJA
If using the youtube bbcode, enter [youtube]7WqCLmuwqJA[/youtube]
