I am getting notifications on some threads I posted on. How do I stop that feature?

Go to "user cp" ; then click on "list subscriptions" ; check the one(s) you don't want and go to bottom of page and select "delete subscriptions".

Thanks Doug. That is correct.

A couple additional notes:
The checkbox on the top right of that page allows you to select all subscribed threads on the page -- it's still page by page though, so if you have a lot of threads you are currently subscribed to and it's unmanageable, you can also send me a PM and I can remove all subscribed threads for your account in one go (but not selectively or with the options you have if you change them yourself)

If you want to change the default notification behavior for new threads you take part in, please go to http://www.boatdesign.net/forums/pro...do=editoptions and in the middle of the page under Messaging & Notification change Default Thread Subscription Mode.
The options you have for existing thread subscriptions or to set as the default are:
  • Do not subscribe (no update notification email sent, and will not automatically add to the subscribed threads list in your user cp)
  • No Email notification (no email sent upon updates, but will still show under lst subscriptions under your usercp)
  • Instant Email Notification (a thread you post in is added to your list of subscribed threads and you get an email when someone else updates the thread)
  • Daily or
  • Weekly digest update email notification.
(You can also override this on a post by post basis if you go advanced or use the full reply screen or if you manually subscribe to an individual thread.)
