| What size should my carbon spinnaker pole become? While I noticed a lot of creativity on the web: people backyard building steering wheels and spars in carbon; I have not yet found scantlings for a carbon design I might want to build: a 3m (9ft) spinnaker pole for a 30ft yacht. The current aluminum pole has a 60mm (2.36") outside diameter, 55mm inside diameter. Advice appreciated (including weblinks; books). |
