What Paint?

The paintwork on the hull of my small fishing boat, coastal/inshore fishing, is looking a bit "tired". Any suggestions on what I should paint it with?

I did wonder about painting below the waterline with Gelcoat, without wax, and when still tacky spraying on antifoul paint. I'm not sure if this is feasible. Would the application of the antifoul seal the Gelcoat, allowing it to completely cure?

Regards,
Alasdair
