Remove wax from the mold? Why? Do you mean removing wax from the laminate after it's removed from the mold?

Recommended application methods can vary a bit between the types of products and brands, but read the directions on the container, it will give you the best advice for the product you have.

I think it would depend on the type of polisher. Most people use a polisher and finish by hand if a really high quality is needed.

I don't know anyone that uses a polisher for waxing a mold.

This doesn't mean someone doesn't do it, only that when I travel with the mold release reps they all say NO.

Are you referring to a polisher that looks like a grinder or the small orbital ones with terry cloth used to spread wax?

The question asked was about removing wax with a polisher. No type of mechanical polisher is recommended by any mold release supplier that I know of.
