| tunnel hull deck replacement Hello I have an old 14ft tunnel hull that needs to have the transom and deck replaced. I am confident that I can fix the transom, but I have doubts about how to rejoin the deck to the hull. I dont want any leaks and the boat sits so low in the water the seam at the rear of the deck will be under water at times. My question is how to properly rejoin the deck to the hull so that there wont be any leaks?? Pics of the hull are attached. Thanks |

| Tja If the deck it's self doesn't need replaced you might want think about cutting out the rear part of the motor well which will give you access to the center of the transom and the balance can be reached from under the deck. Not The easiest way to do it but will keep you from removing the deck. If you remove the entire deck it should be glassed tegeather at the seam. Good Luck. Tom. |
